To access databases with Microsoft Query, you need to obtain and install a Microsoft Office-compatible ODBC driver from a third-party vendor.
Once you've installed an ODBC driver, you must set up an external data source. See the documentation that came with your ODBC driver for more information.
Depending on the data source you select, you may be asked to supply additional information, such as a logon name, a password, the version of the database you're using, the database location, or other information, to connect to the data source. When you finish entering the required information, click OK.
